		<description>Great blogpost! The crux of the matter is separation of church and state when the issue is civil marriage. Indeed we saw how powerful The Church was in Massachusetts during the marriage battles. The visual metaphor for me was when the when the front entrance of the Massachusetts State House was nearly obliterated by the  sign &quot;Jesus is Lord.&quot; While approprite for some people that message should not dominate the laws of the land.</description>
